Usually you have to wait until you’ve come along to a school to get one of those, but a lot of people have asked to purchase these so here you go!
Appx 13cm x 6cm
Well done videos at a steal for the price
Easy and enjoyable teaching style
Helpful for beginners and experienced riders
These videos are so well done! They are truly a steal for the price and Chris has an easy/enjoyable way of teaching. Highly recommend!
As a complete beginner, these videos helped me get comfortable riding off road and enabled me join and finish 2 x 4 day AFC Motorcycles KTM Rallyes. Fantastic value and 2 years on, I regularly re-watch episodes.
Easy to Use, even for me as a 10yearold from Sweden. Fantastic videos and explanations. Nice Coach with good attitude and good practice. Togheter we will be the winning team! /Greetings from Sweden
I’m a low level B enduro rider. I found the say no to slow videos very helpful. I know this is going to improve my skills. Chris is really good at breaking things down.
Great on line videos for those of us that can't make it in person. The instructions are well spoken, easy to understand, and fun to watch. I cannot rave about the Say No to Slow tutorials enough. Chris Birch you legend mate.
I am not sure what I have to share is what you'd call a success story, but Say No To Slow (dirt bike and ADV) has 100% changed my riding. I learned to ride 44 years ago when all of these kinds of education were nowhere to be seen. I read every magazine my 7 year old self could find, watched some races, and experimented with my bikes, but that only takes a person so far. This process continued to iterate over the decades, and like a broken clock is right twice a day, I probably learned a few helpful things along the way. Fast forward to the modern era of digital distribution, which enabled Chris to share his technical and instructive genius with all of us, and it's no exaggeration to say my approach to riding has changed completely after over four decades. My riding has become consistent, repeatable, enjoyable and completely fear-free, because I have the tools for every situation I try to ride through. Just having a plan for pretty much every situation, whatever the level of what I'm attempting, is a massive benefit. THANK YOU.
Where to start.....firstly I'm a 38 year veteran of road riding and a year or so ago I added an F800GS to the stable to get amongst it on the rough stuff. Chris' video's are an excellent resource. From a newbie point of view there's a lot to get your head around but the series does an excellent job of breaking it all down into clearly demonstrated practical steps. It's been great to take the lessons out on the gravel/mud/shale and put it into practise. A wee while ago I swapped the Beemer for a KTM 500 6 Days and in between crashing through the scenery I've been lapping up the Motorcross series as well, the knowledge definitely boosts confidence. Anyone at any level will find these a great learning resource, get into it!
We brought the off road series when it was originally released. We've watched them countless times as you always learn something new, even if it's small. We've found the series a big help as you can tell Chris has put a lot of thought in to it. It's worth every cent..
Helped me so much to understand a lot of things about hard enduro. Best instructional videos seen anywhere. Made me a better rider, even got a 1st place 🥇 in the Greece hard enduro championship Geraneia race Veteran Class.
Great videos and instruction. Well worth the money. Jake, Montana, USA
As an adult transitioning from street to dirt, I found this instruction series worth its weight in gold. Chris has a very down to earth and approachable way of teaching the fundamentals that are so critical to get right. I love being able to go back an rewatch a lesson before a ride so I can practice. If you're debating pulling the trigger, just do it!
Chris was AWESOME, he was just one of the guys having fun. He taught a lot of riding skills and then took us on rides to practice what we learned. Very useful information was given in the classes. I have been riding since I was 8 years old now 58 and I gain a ton from the class.
A really good series. Will take a few views to remember the things I need to practice. Thanks for sharing your incredible skills!
Those ADV sand videos saved my a** in Morocco when we got stuck in a wadi in the dark!! It was still hard to put everything into practice, but having solid theory to fall back on meant I wasn't blindly trying stuff that wouldn't work. 10/10 foundational video series, and I bet even experienced riders can pick up a nugget or two 👌
Started the series and already learning a ton! Thank you Chris.
Having heard Chris’s deep knowledge on the podcast, Adventure Rider Radio, I started with the Adventure Rider series and was sufficiently impressed by the great tips, clear illustrations and terrific filming to also buy the Dirt Bike series. I rarely ride dirt bikes but I’ve found the information gleaned invaluable. I can now venture to little known and beautiful places with greater confidence.
I have been riding off-road for decades, I am also a professional off-road trainer. Say no to slow has helped improve the delivery of my training and thanks to Chris not only improved my own riding but that of my students.. great work keep ‘em coming.
Yes, this is a snow bike. None the less Say No To Slow helped me tremendously to rapidly improve my handling - wether in the winter version or the summer version :-)
Took a really bad hit into a tree coming out of a corner 4th gear wide open, cracked frame, blown apart rear shock just to name a few needed repairs, was pretty timid of the 300 after that, I decided to buy the course and can’t believe the diff it made, Best part for me was the bike setup tips and the cornering, got all my confidence back and haven’t gone down since, can’t thank you enough Chris, i gotta say i was a lil skeptical just because of the price, most places charge 4 times what you do, but after watching i can’t recommend it enough, it’s a steal at that price and you obviously don’t do it for the money, again thank you!!!!!!!!!’
In a time where true value for money is rare, the say no to slow clinic is a gem and worth every cent of your hard-earned dollar. It is full of real time tips and hints to better improve skills. Try it and you won't be disappointed.
Fantastic videos. Purchased these before I’ve got my new bike and am looking forward to putting these skills into practice. Great production - clearly a lot of effort has been put into making them! Looking forward to seeing more!
I wasn't sure what to expect from this course, and I probably signed up for too high of a level. But I can't emphasize enough, the practical experience of watching Chris and understanding the full benefit of the techniques he reinforces left me confident that I am doing things wrong. :-) Or at least doing them less than I should be. Body position is way more important than I understood and I will try not to let the course down by practicing every single ride I do going forward. In re-watching some of the videos since the course I see 3X more details that make a difference than I did before. Details matter, and practice makes permanent (thanks, Chris Whitehead)
I'm 68 years old, been riding Harleys most of my life, some friends & I began building and riding Harley Sporsters off road in 2016, (including Ryan Sipes). I learned a lot from some great riders about managing those heavy monsters off road for several years, then last year I bought a Harley Davidson Pan America to add to my collection, Another friend suggested I look at the "Say No To Slow Adventure" videos , what I saw and learned from the purchase of the Aventure module was I'd been doing a lot of things right but was doing a lot of stuff wrong, for instance the bike setup has probably been a life saver for, after watching that video alone I now have my controls set way better than they ever were before on all my bikes. Body position and leg grip have been tremendous help as well. Each of the modules are great and I have suggested it to all my riding friends. My saying to my friends "if you ever Dreamed of buying something for your Harley Davidson for less than 100 bucks get "Say No to Slow" videos. Cheers Chuck,
Really great training material from a very experienced rider and trainer- thanks 😊
Really awesome content, Chris is great video trainer!
After late start with these bikes and an enduro accident I had to retrain my approach and it helped boost my confidence and get back on the horse. The way it simplifies basic concepts with live examples really help. 5*
(Translated by Google) Hello, I'm Enrique, I'm passionate about motorcycles and a few years ago when I saw Chris Birch doing with a motorcycle, what for me is impossible, my mind exploded, and it opened a new world for me, since then I have focused on trying learn everything possible, to somehow feel more connected to my idol (Chris Birch) I took courses, I go out with people, I go on the road, but I feel that something still doesn't fit. I have bought the Saynotoslow videos, and my head has exploded again, when you see that there is a lot of ignorance about the offroad topic. It would be a dream to be a clinician alongside someone who, for me, is the pilot with the most class, technique and style I have ever seen, and who also knows how to teach. I have seen all the videos of the KTM rallies, etc, etc, and many etc. It opens your eyes in an indescribable way, there are no words to describe the emotion you feel when you see him riding with that ease and class, on a motorcycle. Hopefully one day, I can at least meet him in person and take a photo with him, and participate in a clinic, it would be the ho**Ia. Thanks to the entire Saynotoslow team, for existing and making me a little happier every day. Enrique Furtado. Enrique Furtado.
Chris is the best!!! Clear and well explained contents. Several topics that cover all the main riding conditions you might encounter. Money well invested. I strongly recommend it.
As a relative beginner to off-road riding 3 years ago the instruction given by Chris in person and via the online video series have been a huge factor in developing my riding skills and my confidence in handling the bike. It’s like having access the worlds best instruction manual for riding bikes off-road. Chris has a rare combination of phenomenal riding ability paired with a teaching approach that breaks down the learning journey into steps & drills that anyone can work on to improve.
This course is for everyone, beginner to advanced. Chris' teaching style is engaging, and lessons translate quickly to the dirt. I 100% recommend the course.
I got the adventure bike series and it's worth every penny. The course is extremely well presented, filmed and edited; with clear and concise instruction, advice, hints, tips and recommendations for how to become a better, safer, healthier, and above all happier rider off road. No filler, all killer content! I highly recommend this course for anyone that wants to make the most of their time and money riding these 200+kg bikes around off road.
Great information but lost a star due to needing to be online to view the material. Unable to download it so that I can watch it in the shed while setting up my bike or tinkering. Have to receive an email with a new code every time I want to open a video.
The absolute best money I've spent on anything related to my adventure bike. Instruction is crystal clear and and complete. No matter your experience level, if you're on the fence about purchasing this series, don't be.
I've been riding--street and dirt-since I was 16, I'm 76. Clearly I've been doing it wrong for 60 years. This series has been the single best dirt training I've had in that time, and I've done a lot of courses--mostly road racing, but a few dirt riding as well. If I had any suggestion to improve the course I'd add Chris' workout routine. I'm finding conditioning to be as important as skill.
Highly recommend Chris' ADV series and the ADV Carpark Drills. After a 15-year hiatus (kids, short Alaska summers) with a new Husq 901 Exped the instructional videos have really launched me back into offroad and trail riding regaining old skills and learning or working on body position and clutch control which I hadn't given much thought to in the past. I'm now taking or planning short trips to target and practice riding skills (eg power sliding at the beach!) or scoping out empty parking lots to practice in. Anyways, great fun and highly recommend!
Learnt to ride my big adventure bike using No to Go Slow for Adventure bikes. I recently purchased your Dirt Bike version and Im loving it! I cant thank you enough for producing such a wonderful and easy to understand series on both. Very reasonably priced too. Im a 50yr woman (Living in Aus) and I only started riding motorbikes a year ago. Im absolutely hooked! Im getting a nice family of bikes in the shed now. Ranging from a 1250GS to a 350 Enduro. And a few in between. Only a few weeks ago I spent a week in Bosnia and completed my first off road rally. I would never have progressed so quickly without your help. Hopefully one day you will come to Australia so I can book some face to face lessons.
another good video, just like the last series, Braaap, Motorcross is life, Twist it on, good stuff Chris.
I was a bit hesitant to buy, but although I have only watched 3 videos so far, it's already been totally worth the money!
Fantastic online learning, second only to doing a course with Chris in person. World class expertise taught in a very friendly and personable way. Chris is not only a great rider but a great teacher as well.
Great, well thought out information. For me as a newer rider, and super interested in the ADV route, gives great skills to practice (particularly the first 5 or 6 videos). Find myself constantly going and rewatching and finding more info and detail to work on! Love it! Cheers!
Awesome tutorial i purchased online. Great price, interesting and very easy to understand. Keep up the good work. I'm keen on doing a course when you come back to the south island 👍
Excelent serios of video. Not only I am an admirer of Chris but I now appreciate more the skills he is teaching us and the way he do it.
You just can't buy this level of advice................ oh actually you can!!! I have bought both trail bike series and the adventure bike series on instructional videos. Been riding dirt bikes for too many decades to count and I'm glued to Chris pointing out really good stuff to make you improve.
Enjoyed every bit of it.
Have really enjoyed and played videos over and over again with the adventure series by Chris. Outstanding delivery of instructions, thanks heaps.
Excellent video series! I've been riding offroad for about 25yrs but always keen to learn more. The price seemed very reasonable, so I purchased. Really happy I did, as the videos have taught me stuff or just explained it in a different way that made sense. Things like wheel speed vs ground speed, or the angle of my shoulders relative to the corner. Tons of great tips!
