Course includes coaching, land access, event t shirt, use of Cardo comms set on the course, Say No To Slow Everything Adventure bike online instructional series, lunch both days, and loads of time to pick Chris's brain on all the techniques you need to get the most out of your adventure riding.

These schools are entirely focused on off-road and dirt road skills for Adventure and Dual Sport riders. We aim to create a safe and fun low pressure learning process, with a focus on giving you the techniques to develop over time to continually increase your skills. We split our schools into two levels: Intermediate and Advanced. This is to do our best to keep the groups going along each day at a similar pace and so that each group has similar goals. We also have a new session for repeat customers: The Next Chapter

If you're not sure which level you fit into, consider what your riding goals are and where you would like to be / what sort of group you would be happier / most comfortable in. If you have any questions about this, just get in touch. Please don’t think that the advanced school is better value for money - they are both equally as good, designed for different levels of
riders.

Intermediate

  • You are riding gravel roads, 4WD tracks and easier off-road tracks. You have experience doing this “BDR” style of riding.
  • You can comfortably ride a motorcycle for several hours at a time.
  • You want to ride dirt roads, jeep tracks, single track etc but would rather leave the difficult tracks for the enduro guys. You have a desire to learn the skills to handle more difficult terrain and to gain confidence and
    efficiency.
  • You are comfortable riding in a group situation.

Advanced

  • You have several years of experience off road, gravel, 4x4 trails, along with some single track riding on your adventure bike. You can comfortably ride a motorcycle off road for several hours at a time.
  • You have a desire to learn the skills to ride more challenging terrain, rocks and other obstacles. You want to learn how to ride more difficult off road terrain and push your adventures further in a safe and efficient way. Obstacles like log crossings, rocks and hills are the highlights of the ride for you.
  • If you have a low speed crash/tip over that doesn’t bother you too much and you look at scratches on the bike as part of the sport. You are able to
pick up your own bike comfortably, multiple times in a day.
  • You are physically fit enough to take on two big days of learning, being
challenged and being outside in the elements.
  • You are comfortable riding in a group situation.

If you are not sure - please get in touch. Please don’t underestimate the intermediate class, it's not for beginners, and you're not going to spend the whole day riding around traffic cones. We have noticed that in USA we often get riders booking on to the advanced class when they would have had a much better time in the intermediate.

What’s the main difference between the two classes?
In the advanced we don’t have much patience for people that can’t hang with the
group.

Can I come to an intermediate and an advanced session? Absolutely,
you are welcome to. Please check the requirements above and remember that if
you are booking back to back sessions, you will be in for a relatively intense
4 days of physical and mental learning!
